Gemma Collins is 'still communicating' with ex-boyfriend Arg during her 'soul searching' break in the US

Despite putting an end to her on/off relationship with James ‘Arg’ Argent just last month, Gemma Collins is “talking” to her fellow The Only Way is Essex star once again.

In May, the former Dancing on Ice star described herself as “free at last” on social media, as she revealed she’d called quits on the pair’s turbulent romance and was about to embark on a “soul searching” adventure in Los Angeles.

Just one month into her trip, The Sun reports that the pair are “still talking but their relationship has changed.”

"Gemma is not jealous when she sees his Instagram with Arg posing with lots of female fans at his gigs," a source told the publication.

"Gemma and Arg are still communicating with each other. They ask each other where they are and how they are getting on.”

The insider was quick to add that Collins “realises the on-again-off-again relationship is not healthy” and that "she seems ready to move on and is moving into a new chapter in her life.”

However, the self-proclaimed “diva” is struggling to “cut him out of her life" completely.

Just before she left for the US, it was reported that Collins and Argent reconciled after a raging argument led to the break-up. Shortly after, Argent had fans believing they were back together after he posted a video of himself and Collins dancing to Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon, alongside the caption, “Can’t live with you... Can’t live without you.”

But Collins insisted she was single.

It’s believed that Collins and Argent first got together in 2012, when the latter split with childhood sweetheart Lydia Bright. They shared a brief relationship before seemingly confirming they were an item back in December 2017.

However, Collins left fans in a state of confusion when she appeared on Celebs Go Dating in January 2018.
