Gemma Collins says she's trying for a baby with boyfriend Rami Hawash

Gemma Collins is still determined to become a mother, and is trying for a baby with her boyfriend Rami Hawash.

The reality TV star suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome and has had two more miscarriages since her first more than eight years ago.

She is now dating Hawash — owner of a car repair company — to whom she was previously engaged in 2013.

In an interview to promote her new partnership with Durex, she said: "I am trying to have a baby. I have been with my partner for a while, we don’t use condoms now."

The 40-year-old former TOWIE star added: "The baby is going to be adored. I haven’t had a baby yet, but I speak as if I have as I am trying to cosmic order it up.

"I am going to be a chilled mum and I am not going to force my child into doing anything. It’s going to be so happy for me. The child is going to be like royalty."

Despite her love of reality TV, Collins confirmed she won't be filming her child's birth and said she will likely have to hire security to keep cameras away.

"I’m not going to pass the baby to nannies. It’s not going to be out of my sight," she added.

Collins rose to fame in 2011, when she joined the cast of The Only Way is Essex for its second series and soon became one of its most popular stars.

She left the cast of TOWIE in 2019 and has also taken part in Dancing On Ice as well as fronting her own Diva franchise of shows.

After splitting from Hawash, she began a relationship with TOWIE co-star James Argent which continued on and off for the next few years.

Collins is due to take part in an upcoming documentary in which she will talk about her struggles with mental health.
