Gemma Collins has credited her recent weight loss to her new “vegan lifestyle.”

The former TOWIE star thanked fans for their positive response to her slimmer figure in a new Instagram post, as she revealed that she’d been embracing a plant-based diet.

Sharing a short clip of herself posing in a white T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms while “en route to Manchester,” the former Dancing on Ice contestant wrote: “Thanks for your weight loss comments my hard work is defo paying off #veganlifestyle #eatlifenotdeath.”

Collins, who previously revealed that she had lost around two stone while competing in the ITV show, was met with yet more support from her Instagram followers, who described her transformation as “incredible” and “inspiring”.

“So amazing you have gone vegan and you are looking amazing #VGANG,” one commenter wrote.

A fan hailed Collins as “the vegan queen we didn’t know we needed,” while another Instagram user welcomed her “to the vegan side”.

“Wow what a transformation!” another said. “Go you, you must be so pleased with these results!”

Earlier this year, the 38-year-old revealed that she has given up on “diet and weight loss nonsense” and urged her fans to embrace a similarly body positive approach.

“Stop wishing for other people’s bodies,” she wrote alongside a video in which she shimmied in a black swimming costume.

“Find peace in your own. Just eat food. Eat real food, be active and live your LIFE. Forget all the diet and weight loss NONSENSE.

“It’s really just that… NONSENSE. Spreading LOVE and POSITIVITY.”

Collins’ boyfriend James Argent revealed yesterday that he is making significant lifestyle changes after being trolled over his weight.

Sharing a clip of himself running on a treadmill and later posting a snap from the boxing ring, Argent told followers that he had signed up to a boxing gym in a bid to lose weight.

“I’ve been warned I’m on ‘Death Row’ because of my weight gain!” he wrote on Instagram.

“Thanks to my old friends @mranthonyyarde @tundeajayi9 today my life changes & I’m back in the boxing gym! @peacockboxingclub is my new home!”

The 31-year-old’s health kick comes after he hit out at a troll who had been “bullying [him] constantly about [his] weight & attacking [him] on social media.”
