TOWIE diva Gemma Collins has been slated online for giving a cringe-worthy interview.

When Gemma, 37, turned up for an interview with Now Magazine, it appears the Essex girl was not in the best of moods.

As interviewer Hayley Minn began what seemed like a routine interview, Gemma evidently didn’t like its fluffy nature.

When Hayley asks her ‘what have you been up to today?’ the reality TV star answered: ‘I’ve been doing lots of interviews for my book, just like I’m doing now. It’s been very full on.’

However, it was when she asked her to tell readers about her new book that GC became (more) agitated.

‘Have you read it, hun?’ she asked, to which Hayley answered ‘No, I haven’t, I’m afraid.’

To which Gemma retorted: ‘OK, so you’re doing this interview without having done any research or read the book or anything?’

And it carried on in extremely awkward fashion thereafter.

People who read the interview in the mag began sharing it on Twitter, where it gained some traction and plenty of ridicule directed towards the TOWIE star.

Despite being informed that her PR hadn’t sent books to all interviewers and that it wasn’t even out yet to buy, Gemma still wasn’t impressed that Hayley hadn’t (somehow) read it.

Some online users noticed the sass of how Now had gone about publishing the piece.

And people were really here for the interviewer, after Collins appeared somewhat difficult when there to promote her own book.

And some were sceptical as to whether Gemma had even read the book she’d supposedly written.

The questions kept coming and Gemma kept going back to the fact Hayley had not read the book, so after a bit of awkward discussion with her own PR, she decided enough was enough.

When asked if there were any further questions to ask Gemma, she said ‘They weren’t about the book specifically,’ which seemed to trigger her all over again.

‘Basically, any of the interviews have to be about the book; anything else isn’t relevant.

‘Darling, don’t worry, we’re going to get the book publishers to send everyone doing an interview the book.

‘Thanks, bye!’
