Gemma Collins has thanked Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan for supporting her over her ongoing feud with Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner.

Collins hit back at Gardiner on Sunday’s live Dancing on Ice episode after he took part in a scathing interview with The Sun against the TOWIE star.

Morgan defender her rant and declared that he was on “Team Collins”, insisting: “For Jason Gardiner to be burying her in the press is completely wrong.”

Ofcom receives more than 80 complaints over Jason Gardiner’s ‘Dancing On Ice’ row with Gemma Collins

“I admire the attempt to try and be better than she clearly is, right? Unusually, I find myself in Team Collins,” he added.

Collins took the Instagram to thank everyone who has supported her over the last week, specifically mentioning Morgan.

She wrote: “Thank you to everyone who supported me its been a tough week @thepiersmorgan @gmb #teamcollins …. #next …. #boring.”

Gardiner had also previously told The Sun that Collins was ‘lazy’ and that she made him despair for society.

That prompted Collins to shout at him on Sunday’s episode of Dancing on Ice, arguing: “Can I just say one thing? Maybe if you didn’t sell stories on me, I wouldn’t have been so upset this week.”

“So take that! Boring, boring! Don’t sell stories on me,” she added, before telling Gardiner to “shut up” as he was delivering his judging comments on her performance.

The clash between the two of them has seen Ofcom receive 83 complaints from viewers. The TV watchdog said that 50 of the complaints were levelled at reality star Collins’ behaviour during the spat, while the remaining 33 were related to Gardiner’s comments to Collins.
