General election candidates 2019 for London: Who are the MPs in my constituency?

London's 73 constituencies usually prove a crucial battleground in any general election and this year is no different.

As the 12 December poll nears, traditional Labour strongholds in the capital are facing new Brexit Party competition, and many local favourite MPs are standing down, leaving open and unpredictable contests.

Streatham is one such race, where ex-Labour MP Chuka Umunna commanded almost 70 per cent of the vote in 2017, bur he is now standing for the Liberal Democrats in the Cities of London and Westminster seat.

Other key constituencies to watch carefully include Finchley and Golders Green, where former Labour MP Luciana Berger, now standing for the Lib Dems, is hoping to upset the knife-edge result of the last election.

The so-called "remain alliance" parties are also targeting seats including Wimbledon and Richmond Park, where Zac Goldsmith faces losing his marginal 45-vote majority.

We've compiled a list of all the confirmed candidates standing in every London constituency, with a brief analysis of the most interesting battles.

You can use the find function on your device to easily find your local constituency.
