Genius! Stephen Hawking declares people are fat because ‘we eat too much and move too little’

Genius and all round legend Stephen Hawking has finally worked out exactly why people are getting fat – and it’s very simple.

Experts can quote genetics and hereditary issues but Professor Hawking has got it all worked out – people are getting fat because they “eat too much and move too little”.

The British boffin, considered to be pretty much the cleverest man on the planet, outlined his theory as part of an advert titled: “Pep talk with Stephen Hawking.”

On the campaign highlighting “the most serious public health problems of the 21st century”, he says: “Today too many people die from complications related to overweight and obesity.

“We eat too much and move too little.”

Professor Hawking says in the ad shot for Swedish non-profit GEN-PEP that the solution is for people to eat less and exercise more.

He adds: “[It] is not rocket science.

“For what it’s worth, how being sedentary has been a major health problem is beyond my understanding.”

GEN-PEP is a non-profit launched by The Swedish Crown Princess Couple to help “spread knowledge and get people involved in promoting the health of children and young people”.
