Geordie Shore cast's one-night-stands must show their passport and sober up for an hour before meeting the boys

If you ever wanted a chance at sleeping with one of the Geordie Shore boys then you should probably carry your passport around at all time as MTV bosses have imposed strict rules on who the Newcastle lads can and can’t sleep with whilst filming the show.

Trust us when we say that it sounds like an absolute nightmare.

Geordie Shore star, Aaron Chalmers, has opened up about the vigorous process that occurs before he and his castmates are even allowed to meet the girls, explaining that all prospects must show their passport to producers and sober up for an hour first.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Aaron explained: “They have to have a passport for ID. And they’ve got to go and film a video to agree they are probably going to have sex.

"Then they have to sign a form. And then it takes them an hour or so to sober up before they can actually meet us.

"You don’t want to get caught out. You’d have some parent ringing up an and complaining. That would be awful.”

Nathan Henry added that he struggles to meet peope while filming because of the high security surrounding them, sharing: “People think we have loads of people throwing themselves at us but we don’t.

"When we’re filming they can’t get close because of all the security.

"If you see someone you like you have to point them out. Then they have to chat with crew. And if they haven’t got their passport then they aren’t allowed to join us.”

Gaz Beadle agreed, adding: “I slept with about three girls. It’s a lot harder to sleep with a girl when we’re filming.

"It’s not as easy as pulling a girl on a normal night out.”

Still, we suppose that it’s better to be safe than sorry…
