George RR Martin says he will share "everything that’s gone wrong" with House of the Dragon
George RR Martin has said he will reveal "everything that’s gone wrong" with House of the Dragon, but not just yet.
Based on Martin's 2018 novel Fire & Blood, the prequel series, which is set roughly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, returned this summer for its second instalment.
Taking to his blog, which is aptly titled Not A Blog, the Game of Thrones author said: "I do not look forward to other posts I need to write, about everything that’s gone wrong with House of the Dragon … but I need to do that too, and I will. Not today, though."
Digital Spy has reached out to HBO Max for comment.

It's not clear when Martin intends to share his thoughts, but the author hasn't shied away from voicing his opinions on screenwriters' approach to TV adaptations in the past.
Back in July, Martin praised writers for making a change to the source material when they gave Mark Stobart's character Cheese a canine companion.
"The show added a brand new character as well. The dog. I am… ahem… not usually a fan of screenwriters adding characters to the source material when adapting a story," wrote Martin on his blog. "Especially not when the source material is mine.

"But that dog was brilliant. I was prepared to hate Cheese, but I hated him even more when he kicked that dog. And later, when the dog sat at his feet, gazing up… that damn near broke my heart. Such a little thing… such a little dog…
"But his presence, the few short moments he was on screen, gave the ratcatcher so much humanity. Human beings are such complex creatures. The silent presence of that dog reminded us that even the worst of men, the vile and the venal, can love and be loved. I wish I'd thought of that dog. I didn't, but someone else did. I am glad of that."
House of the Dragon seasons 1-2 air on Sky Atlantic and stream on NOW in the UK. In the US, it airs on HBO and streams on Max.
