Georgian Riot Police Move Against Protesters Outside Parliament

Riot police deployed a water cannon against protesters outside Georgia’s parliament on Monday, November 18, with Georgian media reporting several arrests.

Protesters have been gathering near parliament in Tbilisi since November 14, according to RFE, demanding that elections be called after legislators rejected a proposed move to a proportional electoral system.
