Geri Horner welcomes her new baby boy into the world

It's less '2 Become 1' and more 2 for 1 in terms of Spice birthdays today (January 21), as Geri Horner has announced that she has given birth to a baby boy on the same day as Emma Bunton turns 41!

Geri, also known as Ginger Spice, tweeted the announcement earlier, writing: "Christian and I are delighted to announce our baby boy was born this morning weighing 7lbs 8oz."

This is Geri's first child with Formula 1 star Christian Horner. Her daughter Bluebell Madonna was born in 2006 and served as bridesmaid during the couple's 2015 wedding.

Baby Spice Emma shared her friend's tweet, saying the news had made her day, especially as her and Geri's newborn are now birthday twins. Awwwww!

And the other thing that happened to make Emma Bunton's birthday great? The star also tweeted earlier in the day that she had bumped into Julie Walters. It's cute to see even Spice Girls get starstruck.

Although Geri hasn't publicly replied to Emma's birthday twins tweet (because we imagine she is EXHAUSTED and wanting to bask in the glow of her newborn baby right now), she did share a photo of the two from the 'Say You'll Be There' music video shoot to celebrate Emma's big 4-1.

It's good to see that the girls are still super close with each other despite the fact their reunion, tentatively titled GEM, has apparently been shelved for now.

Whatever you Geri, don't drop the baby!
