Germany Announces Restrictions for Unvaccinated People

Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel announced fresh restrictions on December 2 for those who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Speaking at a press conference in Berlin, Merkel said that there would be significant contact restrictions for those who had not been vaccinated.

People who did not have proof of vaccination would not be able to visit non-essential shops or cultural and leisure facilities. Private gatherings among people who did not have proof of vaccination would be limited to two households.
