Ghislaine Maxwell's Brother Appeals for Her Better Treatment at Trial

Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother spoke to the media as her trial continued in New York on December 6, saying he had appealed to Attorney General Merrick Garland to intervene “urgently” on her behalf.

Videos taken outside the Southern District of New York Courthouse show Maxwell’s brother Kevin saying he asked the attorney general to remove his sister’s four-point restraints. He also asked for her to be provided more food during the trial days, and allow her access to counseling.

“We simply ask him to organize that Bureau of Prisons gives her a food parcel every day with something nutritious,” Maxwell’s brother says in the video.

A British woman testified on Monday that Maxwell forced her to give sexual messages to Jeffrey Epstein when she was a teenager in the mid-1990s, the Associated Press reported. Credit: Addy Adds via Storyful
