Ghosts star reveals whether she'd be open to more of the BBC show
Ghosts star Lolly Adefope has revealed whether she'd be open to starring in more episodes of the hit BBC show.
Speaking to Metro, Adefope opened up about returning to the beloved show following its emotional finale last Christmas.
Asked if she would ever reprise the role of Kitty, the ghost of a Georgian noblewoman with a kind heart, Adefope said the show's ending was fairly final, but she would never say never.

"The ending was quite final in a satisfying way. I think it's harder to cope with if it's really open-ended, it's nice to have that finality," she said. "But if there was another opportunity, definitely. It was so much fun."
The series came to an end on Christmas Day 2023 with a festive finale which left fans feeling emotional. Reflecting on saying goodbye to the role five years after making her debut as Kitty, Adefope noted the impact the show has had on viewers.
"It's one thing doing something that you're really proud of and you love doing, and that brings you so much joy," she explained. "And then another thing having that reciprocated by the audience."

"I think when it ended, I was obviously very sad, but it is nice that it does endure. I do still get people talking to me about it, so it kind of feels like it hasn't really gone away, in a sense."
"But it's also nice to finish something and feel, you know, devastated, and then go into another ensemble and feel like, okay, I'm not just cast out into the world by myself."
Touching on her latest role in the new show The Franchise in which Adefope stars as a sharp-witted third assistant director named Dag, the actor continued: "I've been welcomed by this new ensemble, which is quite nice."
Ghosts: Brought to Life: The Making of a Classic is released on October 24. The television series is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
