Giant Blocks Float Down Lava Flows After La Palma Volcano Wall Collapses

Massive blocks as big as three-story houses were carried by lava flows after a wall in the Cumbre Vieja volcano collapsed on October 9, according to Spain’s Geological and Mining Institute (IGME).

This video, posted to YouTube by the IGME, shows the massive blocks moving along the new lava flow.
