Gift shop and tea room shares 'sad' news of closure after four years
A Bristol gift shop and tea room has shared the sad news of its closure. Taking to its official Facebook page, Gifts For You on Redcatch Road in Knowle shared a message including the announcement on Tuesday (January 28). In it, the team said: "It's with sadness that I'm sharing this, but as of Friday 28th February our little shop will be closing down. This will be our last working day.
"We have been open nearly four years and have meet some amazing people, customers that have became friends and people we won’t forget. All parties, events and trips booked in will still go ahead and I will continue to do trips and events, just not from the shop.
"I cannot thank our customers, friends and family enough for all your support over this time but with a change of heart and the way of the world at the moment I feel this is the best time to say goodbye to the shop." The message continued to say that the Gifts For You page would remain open in order to post any future events and, in the run up to the shop's closure, there will be a final sale taking place, with a date to be confirmed.

A second said: "Oh no that’s such a shame. Your cafe always has a welcoming friendly feel to it and the food is lovely. We have been made to feel very welcome by you and everyone else who works there. Our Tuesdays won’t be the same without you."
While a third described being "heartbroken to read this", adding: "Where will I get my fix of fatboy rolls and paninis to die for? The shop may be closing but the love for the staff will never fade."
