Gigi Hadid Offers a Whole New Take on Fall Colors

Gigi Hadid knows how to dress for the season.

Yesterday, she was spotted in New York City wearing a long white trench and matching white floral-illustrated pants. Under her coat, she played with fall colors, wearing a light-yellow sweater vest paired with a collared auburn sweater. And sticking to the warm palette, she accessorized with a pair of butterscotch-tinted rectangular sunglasses. Appearing to have returned to her natural hair color (it's no longer the fiery red we saw at the Met Gala), she wore her hair pulled back into a sleek, tight bun.

The casual outing follows an intimate gathering with family and close friends to celebrate younger sister Bella Hadid's 25th birthday. The celebration included a Mediterranean meal and a club outing. Dua Lipa, who celebrated with the Hadids, posted a video of Bella dancing to her Instagram Story. "Birthday girl dancin queen gorgey inside out," the singer wrote on the post.

Gigi also commemorated her sister with a heartfelt Instagram, featuring a photo of her baby daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, in Bella's arms. "We celebrate you today and every day @bellahadid," Gigi wrote in the caption. "She's my baby sister but also a firecracker of a spiritual body guard 😅 and a forever protector as an auntie. I have so much pride watching you take ownership of your growth and fulfillment, and I know everything that you have created for yourself will bring you the year of joy and light you deserve !!!!!!"

Following several runway appearances during Fashion Week, Gigi has been lying low and focusing on family. At the Met Gala, she told livestream cohost Keke Palmer that her appearance at the fashion event was partly to set an example for her daughter. "I feel like tonight I'm showing her what it means to dress up and own it and have balance," she said on the carpet. "I think finding that in your life is when you really feel like you've stepped into womanhood."
