Gigi Hadid has thrown herself back into work following her split from Zayn Malik.

The celebrity couple called time on their two year romance earlier this month, insisting they will continue to support each other as friends.

Hadid, 22, appeared to be in good spirits as she braved the cold for a photo shoot in Brooklyn on Monday.

The model was all smiles as she worked the cameras with a series of poses while modelling on a balcony in a pair of black PVC trousers.

Malik has also been focusing on his music in the wake of their break-up, telling fans he is busy shooting videos for his upcoming second album.

The Pillowtalk singer announced the news of their split last week, insisting he has a “huge amount of respect and adoration” for his ex who he unfollowed along with her mother Yolanda on social media.

Hadid broke her silence hours later, telling fans she will “continue to support him as a friend”.

Posting on Twitter, she wrote: “Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years.. not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I’m forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared.”

She continued: “I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for.

“As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be. xG.”

Malik was trolled by Little Mix fans who branded the break-up “karma” for him reportedly ending his engagement to Perrie Edwards by a single text message. Malik has always denied the claim.

The couple started dating in late 2015 before going public with their romance on Instagram. They starred together in Malik’s music video for Pillowtalk and posed for a Vogue shoot before making their red carpet debut at the 2016 Met Gala.
