Yahoo News Gigi Hadid Suffers Wardrobe Mishap While Rehearsing For Chanel Couture Show In Paris
Gigi Hadid has fallen victim to another fashion mishap and, at this point, it seems like clothes might actually be conspiring against her. As ever though, the experienced model handled it like the pro that she is.
On Tuesday, the 24-year-old shared a photograph of herself arriving at the Chanel Haute Couture show, for an 8am rehearsal with her fellow catwalk models.
However, minutes into the rehearsal and the Californian beauty appeared to have broken the heel off her cream-coloured boots. Happily for Hadid, the heel break happened before the real event.
Model HyunJi Shin shared a short video on her Instagram Stories of the wardrobe malfunction, which Hadid later shared on her own account.
In the clip, the model – who recently rekindled her on/off romance with singer Zayn Malik – can be seen posing with her heelless shoe, wearing a pair of navy blue trousers with braces, a black roll neck top and a long coat. The model can be seen laughing in the video and throwing her hands up in dismay.

This isn’t the first time Hadid has suffered a shoe-related incident in recent months.
During the Marc Jacobs SS20 show at London Fashion Week last September, the mode was forced to walk barefoot because the heel of her white clogs – which she was wearing for her first appearance in the brand’s runway presentation – later broke backstage.
‘Now there is a little story to go with this clip,’ stylist Katie Grand shared on Instagram following the show with a video of the mishap.
‘In the first opening “finale” of Marc's show, Gigi's heel broke - if you see images from the first passage she has thigh-high silver socks and white leather mules, and since we were at the other end of the armoury there wasn't much we could do other than either fake a non-broken heel or rip off her socks and shoes and send her out barefoot, which we did, and was all the more natural for it.’

In September 2017, the model’s younger sister Bella Hadid came to her rescue at the Anna Sui SS18 runway, when her stiletto strap came undone while walking the finale of the show and fell off entirely.
While Hadid maintained her professionalism and continued to walk the catwalk with just one shoe, her sister then put an arm around her to prop her up as they walked the finale together.
