Yahoo News Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have welcomed a baby girl!
2020 has been one big year for celebrities having babies, and now there's one more to add to the mix, with the very happy news that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have announced the birth of their first child!
Gigi and Zayn both shared the happy news on Instagram, revealing that they've welcomed a baby girl, who was born over the weekend. The new parents both shared close-up pics holding their daughter's hand, but as of yet we don't know the little one's name.
Alongside the adorable picture, Gigi added the caption, "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love."
Meanwhile, Zayn wrote, "Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x".
We can't wait to find out her name!

Speculation began about the pregnancy towards the end of April when TMZ claimed that family sources had confirmed that Gigi and Zayn, who met in 2015, were expecting their first child together. Three days later, Gigi confirmed the pregnancy during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. After Fallon congratulated her on the pregnancy, she replied: "We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."
It didn't take long for speculation to start, with various theories suggesting that Gigi had revealed the sex of the baby with the colour of the balloon strings and one of the gifts at her 25th birthday party.

Shortly after announcing the pregnancy, Gigi revealed that she had actually been pregnant during fashion month earlier in the year, in which she had walked in shows for several designers.
Speaking on an Instagram Live with Maybelline makeup artist Erin Parsons, Gigi said, "People think I do fillers on my face, and that’s why my face is round — I’ve had this since I was born. Especially Fashion Month, when I was already, like, a few months preggo, you know."

The couple have been fairly private throughout the pregnancy, with Gigi only showing her bump for the first time in July, two months before her due date.
However at the end of August, she posted a series of black and white pictures to Instagram showing her bump in all its glory. One with the caption, "growin an angel :)," and another saying that she was "cherishing this time."
