Yahoo News Gilmore Girls' Lauren Graham joins Scott Peterson in on-screen reunion
Gilmore Girls actors Lauren Graham and Scott Peterson have reunited on screen for a brand-new festive project.
The duo have reprised their roles of Lorelai Gilmore and Luke Danes, who got married in the Netflix miniseries A Year in the Life, for Walmart's Christmas advert in the US.
The commercial begins with another returning character, Sean Gunn's Kirk Gleason, walking across a snowy town square to deliver a Walmart package to Luke in the coffee shop.

Pretty much as soon as he leaves, Lorelai turns up and asks her husband for a coffee. Instead, he produces the package, and she opens it, revealing a coffee maker.
"Awww, Luke. You shouldn't have," Lorelai said.
"I had to," he responded. "You're drinking me out of business."
You might have also noticed a troubadour playing guitar next to the Stars Hollow sign, as another little nod to the show.

Reuniting the casts of Noughties favourites has been a tactic employed in multiple adverts recently. Some examples include the Modern Family WhatsApp ad from earlier this year, and last year's Walmart Black Friday commercial, featuring the cast of Mean Girls.
One person who sat out the latter was Rachel McAdams, explaining that: "I guess I wasn't that excited about doing a commercial if I'm being totally honest.
"A movie sounded awesome, but I've never done commercials, and it just didn't feel like my bag. Also… I didn't know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be part of a Mean Girls reunion and hang with my Plastics, but yeah, I found that out later.
