Gilmore Girls Star Alexis Bledel Welcomes First Child With Vincent Kartheiser

The actress, who’s returning to play Rory in Gilmore Girls for its Netflix revival, and her Mad Men husband Vincent Kartheiser secretly welcomed their baby boy back in Autumn, according to E! News.

A rep for Alexis confirmed the news, though no further details are being released.

Alexis and Vincent secretly wed in California in 2014, having met whilst filming scenes together on Mad Men.

News of their newborn seemingly broke when Scott Patterson, who plays Luke on Gilmore Girls, spoke about Alexis being a mum during a recent Glamour magazine interview.

Asked what it was like to see her all grown up, Scott said: “It was great to see her. She’s really blossomed as a woman and now she’s a proud new mother and married and happy.

“I remember her as an 18-year-old kid, fresh out of college coming into Hollywood and being a little overwhelmed. She’s just the most likable, intelligent person and adorable human being. She hasn’t changed at all. She looks the same.

“We’re comparing notes because my son is about a year and a half older than her young son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We’re just really enjoying each other’s company.”
