Giovanni Pernice has shared a six-word message with fans as he prepares to make his TV debut. The dancer wasn't invited back to Strictly Come Dancing for its 2024 series amid a probe into his teaching methods on the show.

An investigation was launched by the BBC following allegations made about Giovanni by former Strictly participant Amanda Abbington, with the results yet to be made public.

Sherlock actress Amanda was the first to allege “inappropriate” behaviour on the show and claimed she was subject to a “toxic environment” while she danced alongside Giovanni. He rejects the allegations.

Giovanni has since announced he is joining the Italian "equivalent of Dancing With The Stars" following his departure from the UK's popular dance contest.

In a message posted on Instagram earlier this month, the 34-year-old announced he would be appearing on Ballando con le Stelle, saying he was "excited" to be back on the dancefloor.

In a video announcing the news, he said: "Hi everyone, it’s me Giovanni. Hope everyone is having a nice rest of the summer. I’m here in Portofino and I just finished two fantastic weeks with my family.

"But I’m here to give some exciting news, because I can finally reveal that from next week, I will be joining the cast of Ballando con le Stelle, which is the equivalent of Dancing with the Stars, Italian version. Of course, I’m excited, because finally I’m back on the dancefloor, and hopefully I will create some new magic on the dancefloor, so I’m very, very happy about it. Now I have to do the same thing in Italian because there’s a new audience."

Now, as he awaits to make his debut, Giovanni has shared a fresh message with fans as he prepares to return to the UK next year with his 'last' tour - for now. Back in April, he confirmed he'll be heading out to perform across the country for a final time in 'The Last Dance'.

Sharing a poster for the upcoming shows, which begins in Hayes at the Beck Theatre in January 2025 before ending in May at the iconic London Palladium, Giovanni wrote: "You know where to find me!! Book now www.giovannipernice.com," and his fans and followers were quick to respond.
