Girl disappeared from Hanley last night and hasn't been seen since

Police are asking members of the public to keep an eye out for a 16-year-old girl who disappeared from the city centre last night. The last confirmed sighting of Josephine was as her home in Hanley at around 6.30pm yesterday (November 12)

Josephine - who has links to the Bucknall and Birches Head areas - is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, with a slim buildand long dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a light blue ‘Hood Rich’ branded hooded sweatshirt, black leggings and white Nike Air Force trainers with a blue tick.

Now Staffordshire Police are urging people to report any sightings after issuing a photo of the teenager to the media. A force spokesman said: "We are concerned for missing girl, Josephine, from Stoke-on-Trent. Anyone who has seen Josephine or anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to get in touch."

Sightings should be reported to Staffordshire Police by calling 101, quoting incident number 695 of November 12.
