Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez flashed a huge sparkling ring on her wedding finger as cheered the star footballer to victory in Moscow - sending rumours of an engagement into overdrive.

The 24-year-old joined crowds to support Portugal against Morocco on Wednesday, and was seen proudly sporting the massive jewel on her left hand.

And it appeared to be a lucky charm for Ronaldo, 33, who continued his streak by scoring the winning goal against Morocco following his hat-trick against Spain last week.

The glittering square-cut ring sparked further speculation that the footballer has proposed to Ms Rodriguez.

Ronaldo has been dating the former Gucci employee for more than a year and the couple welcome their first daughter Alana Martina in November.

The footballer is also father to Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and twins Eva and Mateo.

The brunette, who was born in Argentina and raised in Spain, was seen wearing Portugal colours in support of the Real Madrid striker.

Ms Rodriguez had earlier hinted at an engagement after wearing what appeared to be the same diamond-encrusted rock in an Instagram story in April.
