Girls Aloud star Cheryl's health condition she 'struggled' with 'for so many years'
Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy has been open about a health condition she struggled with 'for so many years'. The 41-year-old star confessed that despite appearances she was 'dying' inside.
Following the birth of her son Bear, now seven, Cheryl underwent cognitive behavioural therapy to combat "years of self-loathing" and deep anxiety. Speaking to Radio 1's Life Hacks, she confessed: "I would talk to myself so nastily.
"'You silly cow. You stupid b****.' No one could make me feel worse about myself than I did, and that was a massive problem."

She added: "I struggled for so many years with anxiety and in my own head. I didn't want that to be happening when I was trying to focus on raising a child.
"It felt like my responsibilities shifted and my priorities changed and I needed to be settled in my own head to be able to give him the best that I could possibly give him."
Cheryl shares Bear with late One Direction star Liam Payne, who tragically died after falling from his hotel balcony last month. Following Liam's death, Cheryl shared a heartfelt tribute. She wrote: "Liam was not only a pop star and a celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our seven-year-old son. A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again."
It's still unclear whether Cheryl, who split from Liam in 2018, will be present at his funeral or if she'll bring their son Bear along.
