Kimberley Walsh told fans 'and that is that' as the huge Girls Aloud reunion tour came to an end. The pop star also teased an upcoming show and said: "Until it goes off again."

The mum-of-three has just completed The Girls Aloud Show alongside bandmates Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts. Kimberley said it was "one of the most special times" of her life.

Fans were thrilled when the comeback was announced, with rumours of feuds and fallouts previously quelling any hopes of future shows. But following the tragic death of Sarah Harding in September 2021, her bandmates vowed to celebrate her life with a tour and were now said to be 'closer than ever'.

Kimberley took to Instagram to thanks those who'd made the tour "so special". She wrote: "And that is that…Reflecting on the last few shows of this wonderful tour. Genuinely one of the most special times in my life so far. Sharing the magic of being in Girls Aloud with my kids was a different level and appreciation. I was blown away by the audiences night after night and feel beyond proud of my girls for what we achieved together.

"So many people to thank for making this tour so special. The legend that is Beth Honan for creating this entire show and never wavering in her vision for what she was going to create."

The Mirror reports she went on to tag her dancers, who she said "brought that vision to life in such a wonderful way," and added: "What a team, what a few months we have had. Thank you and goodnight. Until it goes off again at @brightonprideofficial."
