Sarah Harding has reportedly giving up on her solo singing career and retiring from fame.

The former Girls Aloud star took time out last year. Her romance with Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chad Johnson ended after a troubled time in the house, and her plans to make a music comeback fell apart.

Mirror Online has reported that the singer has now gone into hiding, saying that she has been been “shunning the celebrity party circuit and avoiding high-profile events. She hasn’t been seen out since this time last year when she attended the National Film Awards in London in March, 2018.”

The singer has also left social media. Sarah has closed down her Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and hasn’t posted anything online since August last year. Her official website is also offline.

Sarah has no manager or a publicist after splitting from her longtime rep. The former Girls Aloud star had been DJ-ing in recent years, but bookings had slowed down.

A source close to Sarah told Mirror Online: “She has nothing going on work-wise right now and hasn’t had anything in quite a while.”

This news has emerged after reports suggesting she had been kicked out of her home because her pets had caused £17,000-worth of damage.

She was said to have been living in a house in Buckinghamshire with her two cats and two dogs, but was reportedly evicted by her landlord after her pets damaged the property.
