Scots airport staff were forced to clean up a massive poo in a departure lounge - after someone "dropped a log in the middle of the floor and kept walking".

Holidaymakers were forced to jump over the offending material at Glasgow Airport, as staff tried to block it off, as captured in a hilarious video.

The clip, posted on TikTok, showed a wet floor sign was placed over the largest part of it and it was left on the the floor, while a smaller chunk sat a few yards away.

The person who appears to be recording the video says, "Somebody's just s***", as he pans from the smaller piece to the larger bit further back.

A young man rounds the corner and has to adjust his footing to avoid stepping on it, while the man behind him peers at the poo as he gives it a wide berth.

The man filming zooms in for a close up and says, "look at that, they shook it right out their trousers". An airport worker can be heard saying, "I'm dealing with that the noo" as an easel stand was placed over it.

The man videoing continues, after a wet floor sign was also placed over the biggest piece: "Somebody's full on shook that straight oot their troosers. Look - a cordon roon it."

In the 43-second clip he continues to film as passengers pulling cases narrowly avoid making contact with the excrement, as he says: "We're getting close, here, guys."

The video was posted on the ayrshireco account, with Glasgow Airport the tagged location. It was captioned: "Someone has been in a rush for the departure gate that much they have dropped a log in the middle of departures & kept walking."

The clip was shared nearly 1,000 and attracted a number of comments, with one viewer joking it would change how they pass through the departure lounge for their next trip.

They said: "So I fly out on Holiday in two weeks I will now be staring at the floor and not straight ahead making sure my white trainers stay white."

It is not clear who was responsible for the mess or where they were headed on holiday. Glasgow International Airport was approached for comment.
