Glasgow Clydeside Expressway closed as pedestrian hit by vehicle
Motorists are being asked to avoid the Clydeside Expressway after a person was reportedly struck by a vehicle.
Emergency services were called to the busy carriageway at around 1.35pm on Wednesday, January 29, following reports of an incident.
Police have since confirmed that the road is closed in both directions due to the crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.

The nature of the incident and condition of those involved is currently unknown. However, emergency services are in attendance.
Drivers are being asked to seek alternatives routes.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 13:30 to attend an incident on the Clydeside Expressway, Glasgow. An ambulance, trauma team and paramedic response car were dispatched to the scene.”
