Glasgow cops discover 'significant' £98k cannabis farm during property raid

It is understood that enquires are ongoing to 'identify those responsible'.

A 'significant' amount of drugs have been reportedly discovered following a raid in the north of the city.

Officers carried out a search warrant on a property in the Glenkirk Drive area of Drumchapel at around 8pm on Tuesday, September 24. Detectives say that they recovered 246 cannabis plants with an estimated value of £98,000.

It is understood that enquires are ongoing to identify those responsible.

Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: This significant recovery highlights our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities. It also reinforces our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
