Glasgow Dumbarton Road pedestrian hit by car as emergency services swoop scene

A pedestrian hit by a car on Glasgow's Dumbarton Road has been taken to hospital.

Police and paramedics responded to a collision involving a male pedestrian and car at around 10.40pm on Friday, September 6.

The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The nature of his condition remains unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a crash, involving a car and a pedestrian, on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow around 10.40pm on Friday, 6 September, 2024.

"The male pedestrian was taken to Queen Elizabeth university Hospital for treatment."
