Glasgow fan invited to Sean Diddy Combs' Freak Out party if she went "naked and alone"
A fan has revealed how US rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his crew invited her to a “freak out” party after a Glasgow gig on the condition that she went naked, handed over her phone and split up from her friends.
It comes after Combs, who uses the stage name Diddy, was arrested and indicted on charges of sex trafficking, forced labour, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice. He is also accused of staging ‘Freak Offs’ parties where victims would be drugged and forced to have sex, reportedly leaving some with injuries which they needed weeks to recover from.
The Scots rap fan told the Record that she was approached after a gig in October 2010 at Glasgow’s Fruitmarket after the star’s MTV Crashes performance. She would then go on to meet the rapper's crew at the Blythswood Hotel before being invited to an after-party she and a pal agreed to go to.

Speaking out after Diddy’s recent US court case, the fan said: “There was so much excitement for Diddy’s performance in Glasgow with his group Dirty Money. Everyone wanted a golden ticket for the 1500 capacity gig and people were phoning anyone they knew to get on the guest list. I managed to bag a ticket and I found out some of my friends were lucky too.”
She added: “As I sat in the Blythswood hotel that night I was approached by one of Diddy’s American entourage and asked if I was on Blackberry messenger. He said he wanted to invite me to party with him and the gang later on. I knew I was meeting up with some other friends so excitedly said that would be ‘cool’.”
The fan ended up at an after-party at the city’s Corinthian venue, where she was then invited to another after-hours event with Diddy’s crew back at the plush Blythswood hotel.
The fan said: “Taxis pulled up outside the venue and things got hectic as a load of tipsy but glam girls were herded together by Diddy’s crew.
“My new friend in Diddy’s crew asked if I was coming back to the hotel to party on as he disappeared into a car. His other friends tried to chaperone me and another of my female friends into awaiting vehicles. I felt like they were picking us off.
“My friend was joined by a small bald guy while I was asked by a larger man if I was coming to party.
“‘It’s in the spa‘ - he said. I was pinching myself cause it sounded like something out of a movie. My friend and I looked at one another, unsure of what we might be letting ourselves into.
“I said I’d need my swimsuit, only to be told no swimwear was necessary. The guy was impatient. He said ‘You don’t need your bikini, not at our parties. Are you coming?
“I was also told I couldn’t take my phone in. It seems like they wanted us naked but, but the innocent part of me thought ‘maybe we are just going to sit around fully clothed, and maybe it’s because the phone will get wet’, so I still toyed with the idea of going.
“My pal and I agreed we’d go to have a nosy, but stick together at all points.”
At the taxi door the atmosphere changed.
The fan said: “My friend got into one car with the smaller guy and as I was about to join her the burly guy beside me told me we’d have to go in separate cars.
“He insisted ‘You with me, and her with him. I told him we were together. but he insisted we go in separate cars and no phones.
“At that point my friend was in the other car - and it started to drive off.

“My intuition took over and I decided it wasn’t for me.
“During the taxi ride, my friend also decided that it wasn’t for her and was thrown out by the frustrated wee guy.
“She called me and as we found one another a few streets away it was decided we’d go for chips and cheese instead.”
She continued: “I heard about the spa party over coming days as people said Diddy took over the basement..
“There were no photos from inside. There was no mention of what actually went down. There was only a bit of chit chat about the no phone policy and how the bubbly and Ciroc was flowing in the jacuzzi as Diddy apparently showered himself under one of the water jets chanting ‘Life doesn’t get any better than this.”
She added: “In later years the Blythswood even told the story of the night Diddy took over the spa. They referred to it as a ‘Spa-rty’ making a point of the fact that all footage had been erased of the event.
“I think, given what we now know, that I may have dodged a bullet. You always hear about how debauched some of these nights are but this was really pretty scary.”
The Blythswood Hotel were approached by the Record for comment about Diddy’s stay at the venue in 2010.
