Glasgow fave Cail Bruich named in prestigious world's top 1000 restaurants list
A hugely popular Glasgow restaurant has just been named one of the best in the world by a prestigious guide.
Cail Bruich in the west end, which was crowned ‘AA Restaurant of the Year Scotland’ last year, was picked out in the annual Top 1000 Best Restaurants in the World, by influential dining site La Liste.
Named alongside the likes of fellow Scottish Michelin Star winners the La Lique by Glenturret and Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, the Glasgow fave scored 77.50 per cent.

One of Scotland's best restaurants, the Michelin-starred venue is now being rightly recognised among the best in the world.
The luxurious and stylish venue, which is situated on Great Western Road, is headed up by top Scottish chef Lorna McNee, who is the only current female chef in Scotland holding a Michelin star, a feat that she achieved in just five months at the helm.
Chef Lorna recently announced she has joined the judging panel for the Great British Menu.
For the BBC Two show's 20th series, the Scottish chef, a former champion of the show, will be joining fellow chef Tom Kerridge and comedian Ed Gamble in the search to find the best cuisine in the UK. It comes after restaurateur Nisha Katona announced they were leaving the show.
