Glasgow fave Ho Lee Fook launches at home kits for fans looking to make their favourite dishes
A popular take away in the East End of Glasgow has launched at home kits so budding chefs can recreate some of their most popular dishes in their own kitchens.
Ho Lee Fook in The Barras now sell kits to recreate meals including their katsu curry and biang biang noodles. The ingredients and instructions are posted out meaning if you cannot come to the noodles, the noodles can come to you.
The takeaway operates from a tiny hatch across from the iconic Barrowlands and sees huge queues for their Asian fusion food every weekend. Run by husband and wife Lee and Johnny Chung, the cheekily named food spot sells out most weekends and when Glasgow Live visited there was a big queue despite the wet weather.

Lee said: "Now people that can't make it to us, can still get their fix of Ho Lee Fook."
Ho Lee Fook, which means good, wealth and luck in Cantonese and definitely not a rude saying, opened in 2024 and are known for their tonkatsu pork sandwich as well as their noodles and Asian fusion dishes.
You can buy kits as well as some sauces and seasonings here.
