One of the southside's most popular eateries has confirmed it is set to expand with a brand new offering.

Lobo, which is found on Pollokshaws Road and is known for its Mediterranean small plates with Spanish, French and Italian influences, took to Instagram to confirm the news.

Posting on their official Instagram, they wrote: "The worst kept secret in Southside hospitality, Lobo is branching out. Follow @bocaglasgow, more updates to come…"

Dubbed Boca Sandwiches, the new account states they'll be offering a sneak peek for fans with a pre-launch pop-up from 12 pm at the nearby Cooperage this Saturday (June 8) as part of a summer event.

Lobo, which took over the former site of Strathbungo fave Gnom in 2021, has grown a cult following thanks to its impressive Mediterranean inspired menu of both food and drinks.

Though the team has not yet confirmed where the new sandwich spot will officially be based, we are excited to see what they come up with and will of course let you know as soon as we find out more.
