Glasgow finalists at the British Kebab Awards 2025 look to be crowned best in Scotland

Sevan kebab houses in Glasgow and the surrounding areas are in the running to receive the best kebab house in Scotland title at the British Kebab Awards 2025 - and you can help them win.

The prestigious awards, which celebrates kebab houses around the UK, allows people to vote for their favourite restaurant and takeaway, with the winners to be crowned at a glittering ceremony scheduled to take place in London on Tuesday, February 27.

Nominees, who have been selected by a panel of judges, includes the likes of well-loved Hajar's Shawarma on Sauchiehall Street and iconic Shawarma King.

Here is a full list of Glasgow eateries in the running for the best kebab house in Scotland:

  • BABS (49 West Nile Street)

  • Hajar's Shawarma (450A Sauchiehall Street)

  • King Roj Shawarma (1204 Argyle Street)

  • Polski Kebab (5, Rose Street, Motherwell)

  • Shawarma King (113 King Street)

  • Shawarma Star - Charcoal Grill (44 Dundas Street)

  • Spices (68 Mansfield Road, Bellshill).
