One of Glasgow's top pizza destinations has announced it is set to open its second spot with a new restaurant in the city centre.

Leopardo Pizza, which was created by the same Glasgow-based team behind the popular Bread Meats Bread burger restaurants, is currently based at the Fort offering mouth-watering Neapolitan pizzas with fresh and unique flavour combinations and funky cocktails.

The team behind it have just confirmed they'll now be opening their newest restaurant on the corner of West Nile Street and West George Street.

Leopardo's Luli Avdyli said: "We're excited to announce that we're aiming to launch in the last week of February or the first week of March. While we’re not ready to share the exact date just yet, you can find us close to Babs on West Nile St and Bread Meats Bread on St Vincent St our sister restaurants right in the heart of the city. We’re looking forward to becoming a part of the vibrant 'tasty triangle' in the area."

Luli added that they are thrilled to be opening in the city centre, adding that it a fantastic opportunity to reach more pizza lovers and immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Glasgow.

He said: "We can't wait to welcome both loyal customers and new faces, and to create a lively space where everyone can enjoy our unique take on pizza."

Much like the original pizzeria, the new eatery will be offering up leopard-spotted crusted Neo-Neapolitan pizzas, cooked in specially imported Italian ovens.

"Traditional Neapolitan pizza is quite strict in its rules—it's cooked in a wood-burning oven, limited to three ingredients, and always finished with extra-virgin olive oil and basil," explained Luli. "Neo-Neapolitan pizza, on the other hand, allows for more creativity. This means we can experiment with diverse toppings and flavour combinations while still honouring the essence of pizza-making.

"At our new restaurant, people can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects the lively spirit of Glasgow. Our menu will feature our signature Neo-Neapolitan pizzas, highlighting creative toppings and fresh, local ingredients. We also plan to offer a selection of drinks, including local craft beers and wines, to complement the dining experience. Additionally, we’re excited to host events and engage with the community, making it a great place for gatherings and celebrations."

We can't wait to visit when it opens at the end of February/start of March.
