Glasgow Govan daylight robbery and assault investigated as CCTV image released
Detectives investigating an alleged daylight robbery and assault in Govan have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
Police were called to the incident on Govan Road after midday on Friday, October 4. Enquiries into the alleged assault and robbery, which occurred around 12.20pm are ongoing.
On Monday (November 25), police released an image of a man they want to speak to, saying he 'could assist them'. Detectives also appealed for witnesses or those with information about the incident to come forward.

The man is described as being white, approximately 5’10” and of slim build. He was wearing a black beanie hat, a black jacket, navy tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
He was carrying a blue carrier bag and had a yellow carrier bag over his shoulder. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "I would urge the male pictured or anyone who may recognise him to contact us. If you have any information about this incident, please get in touch as soon as possible.
"Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1531 of 4 October 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously."
