The Halal food festival is coming to Glasgow this year in what is said to be the "first ever indoor cultural extravaganza" taking place at the Scottish Event Campus.

From Saturday, November 30 to Sunday December 1, foodies will be able to eat from multiple vendors, some of whom will travel from south of the border bringing their tasty treats to Scotland.

Last year, the event took place in Manchester, however, this year Halal street food vendors will be feeding hungry Glaswegians as the exhibition comes to the city.

Other stall holders will be selling modest clothing and fragrances including Oud. There'll also be plenty more to get your hands on from jewellery to travel gear and cosmetics.

A spokesperson wrote: "So come hungry, come curious, and most importantly, come ready to support and celebrate our culture in all its delicious glory. The Halal Food Festival isn't just about food – it's about coming together, sharing stories, and creating memories that will last a lifetime."
