A Glasgow Loganair flight to the Shetland Islands declared an emergency shortly after take-off.
The plane was heading up to Sumburgh Airport in Shetland when it issued a 7700 squawk code - which means an aircraft is experiencing an emergency and needs immediate assistance from air traffic control.
The flight was scheduled to leave Glasgow Airport at 7.30am on January 9 and it was scheduled to arrive on the island at around 8.50am.

It is understood the plane still made a safe arrival to Sumburgh Airport arriving at the slightly later time of 9.20am. A spokesperson for Loganair said: "It was a precautionary PAN due to a suspected technical issue. The aircraft landed and passengers disembarked as normal. The issue has been stood down."
