Glasgow man dies after taking ill while driving as police close street
A man has died after taking ill while driving in Glasgow's east end.
Police and ambulance crews raced to Millerston Street, Camlachie, shortly after 10pm Wednesday (November 27). A 64-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police Scotland said the man had taken ill while driving. A spokesperson added there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The road was closed during the while emergency services worked at the scene. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.10pm on Wednesday, 27 November, 2024, we received a report that a 64-year-old man had taken ill while driving on Millerston Street, Glasgow.
"Police and Ambulance attended. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
