Glasgow Maryhill car set on fire in deliberate blaze as police launch probe
An investigation has been launched after a car was set on fire in the Maryhill area of the city.
Emergency services were called to Stronend Street at around 9.45pm on Sunday, September 22. It is understood that the car had been parked at the time of the blaze.
Police say they are treating the incident, which left the vehicle with extensive damage, as 'wilful'. They have launched a probe into the fire and have asked anyone with information to get in touch.

Detective Constable Fraser McGill from Maryhill CID said: “This fire-raising took place in a busy residential area and we are appealing for any potential witnesses to come forward.
“If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious, or if you have private CCTV or dashcam footage which could be of significance to our investigation, please get in touch.”
