Glasgow police search for two men following city centre assault

Glasgow police have launched an appeal for two men to come forward following a city centre assault earlier this year.

Officers are investigating an attack which took place on Glassford Street between 8pm and 10pm on February 26.

CCTV images have now been released of two individuals they are looking for. Both have been described as being white and of slim build.

The first man was seen to be wearing a dark sweatshirt, shorts and a skip cap. The other was seen to be wearing a dark top with writing on the chest area.

Detective Constable Stephen Green said “I would urge the men pictured or anyone who may recognise them or has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.”

Those with information are being urged to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1164 of March 4, 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
