Glasgow rail passengers facing widespread disruption after fire breaks out on train at Dalmuir
Glasgow rail passengers are facing disruption following a fire on a train at Dalmuir.
The incident happened at around 1.43pm this afternoon (Monday, October 7) after a fire broke out in a train carriage at Dalmuir Station.
Firefighters rushed to the scene of the incident with three appliances at the scene. Crews remain in attendance.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 1.43pm on Monday, 7 October, to reports of a fire within a train carriage at Dalmuir Train Station.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
"There are no reported casualties, and crews remain in attendance."
The incident has caused widespread disruption with a number of services cancelled or delayed.
A ScotRail statement reads: "A train fault at Dalmuir. All services through Dalmuir will be affected. No services will call at platform 1.
"Customers can travel on train services via Yoker between Hyndland and Dalmuir in both directions. Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised."
Affected services include Helensburgh - Edinburgh, Motherwell - Dalmuir and Larkhall - Dalmuir.
