Glasgow southside residents evacuated after car crashes into shop
Residents in the south of the city have been evacuated after a car struck a shop this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Road at around 5.50pm on Thursday, September 12, following reports of an incident. It is understood that a car left the road before colliding with a building.
Following the incident, police evacuated a number of properties as a precaution. There are no reported injuries.

Officers have sealed off the street and local diversions are in place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Victoria Road in Glasgow has been closed after a car struck a premises around 5.50pm on Thursday, 12 September, 2024. Residents have been evacuated from a number of properties as a precaution. There are no reports of any injuries.
"Emergency services are in attendance. Local diversions have been put in place."
