Glasgow teen, 16, missing for five days as police 'growing concerned'

Concerns are growing for a Glasgow teenager who has been missing for five days.

Memona Akram, 16, was last seen in the Govanhill area of the city at around 1.45pm on Monday, October 21. There have been no further sightings since.

The youngster has never been missing before and police say concerns are mounting for her welfare.

She has been described as 5ft 5 in height with long black hair and a nose piercing. Memona usually wears a black hijab and there is no further information about what clothing she may be wearing.
