Glasgow trampoline takes a wander during Storm Eowyn as timely video catches moment

A Glasgow woman caught a trampoline in the East End of Glasgow taking a wander this morning as Storm Eowyn batters the city with forceful winds.

A 'danger to life' warning was issued across Scotland with gusts of 90mph expected in Glasgow city - it is in place until 5pm today, January 24, with further yellow alerts in place this weekend. Police Scotland urged members of the public to stay indoors and issued serious advice for those needing to travel.

Amongst all the chaos, one Glasgow woman caught a rather timely video which captured a trampoline rolling down a street in the Barlarnark area of the city.

The 'hilarious' clip has been labelled 'Trampoline 2.0' following on from 2011's video that went viral during Hurricane Bawbag. The original clip captured by then 15-year-old Conor Guicha, shows a trampoline cartwheeling down his street in Fife.

Today's clip, caught by local Sarah Armstrong, had her friends in stitches. At the beginning, she has her camera on a Toyota Aygo saying: "I'm sorry but if that wee car can drive about in it (Storm Eowyn), I'm sure we're...", she quickly stops and lets out a yelp after seeing a trampoline cartwheel down a nearby street - proving that the outside conditions aren't as safe as she first thought!
