Glasgow's Dockyard Social to host new foodie festival with A Lot On Your Plate podcast

A hugely popular podcast has just announced it is bringing its own foodie festival to one of Glasgow's most favourite street food spots.

A Lot On Your Plate hosts and best friends Jess and Zoe, took to social media to announce they are heading to the Dockyard Social in Finnieston for the fun new event this summer.

Taking to Instagram they wrote: "We are so excited to announce that we are bringing you our very own ALOYP Foodie Festival with @dockyardsocial this summer.

"We encourage you to bring your partners, friends, family - anyone you know who loves a bloody good time!"

Taking place on Sunday, July 21, will run over two sessions with the first from 12 pm until 2.30 pm and the second from 2.30 pm until 5.

The duo said there would be a few surprises from them too and that the event would also be dog friendly.

Tickets are on sale now from the website.

The Dockyard Social is found on Haugh Road in the west end and is home to an impressive (and rotating) array of Scotland's top street food vendors.

Dog-friendly, It also offers a range of fun events including the likes of pottery making, candle painting and drag bingo.
