A popular Southeast East Asian restaurant in the city centre has shockingly closed.

Fans were dismayed to learn Mamasan on Ingram Street is shutting, with staff confirming they will no longer be open.

This spring, Mamasan introduce an audio bar to their venue, following a hi-fi overhaul and the installation of a state-of-the-art sound system, the team hoped to "elevate" the late-night cocktail and dining scene.

However, it appears not to have worked out as staff were spotted clearing out the restaurant and the website for the Glasgow site also appears to be down.

First opened in 2020, the venue has collaborated with leading music-tech brands including Technics, Pioneer, Master Sounds, Small Town Audio and Danley to unlock the full potential to elevate the guest experience for audiophiles and vinyl lovers alike earlier this year with the launch of their audiobar.
